The Ship Owners and Agents Association of Ghana (SOAAG), has held its annual cocktail event with a call on all stakeholders in the port and shipping industry to resort to dialogue as they seek ways of resolving challenges confronting the industry.
The Ship Owners and Agents Association of Ghana (SOAAG) has celebrated its 30 years of existence with a promise to continue to be the mouthpiece of shipping lines operating in Ghana. The theme for the celebration was “Celebrating 30 Years of Collaboration: The SOAAG Story”.
SOAAG deems it crucial to build bridges with the media by sensitizing its members them on what goes on within the shipping industry. To this effect the first interaction between SOAAG and the Press Corps in Tema was organized on 14 March, 2014 under the auspices of the President of the Association, Alhaji Asoma Banda..
Mr. Adam Imoru Ayarna was recently appointed the vice- president of the Association. He brings along a wealth of experience in the maritime industry which culminated in his appointment as the Managing Director of Safmarine Gh. Ltd until his resignation in 2012 to start his consultancy office.
