SOAAG pays courtesy call on the Tema Traditional Council
In line with the Association’s community outreach policy it was decided that a courtesy call was to be paid to the Tema Traditional Council. Subsequently the visit came on as planned and a three member delegation from the Secretariat represented the Association to pay the visit.
The delegation was warmly received by delegation of elders within the traditional council led by the paramount chief of Tema, Nii Adjei Kraku to a well- organized but brief ceremony.
As custom demands, the SOAAG delegation presented some drinks as well as souvenirs offered by some members of the Association in addition to a cash donation to support the activities of the traditional council.
On behalf of the Traditional Council the paramount chief expressed their utmost appreciation and was hopeful that this meeting would forge the beginning of a healthy collaboration between the two organisations.
