The Association held discussions with GPHA concerning the incidence of stowaway within the port. The port security gave a detailed presentation on the port’s effort to curb the menace which was giving it a bad name..
He indicated that the Port was in the process of installing a security mechanism that could monitor movement within the port which he believed would put the Port in a better position to control stowaway activities as well as other criminal deeds within the port.
He called on all stakeholders to join in the fight against the activities of stowaway by reporting any suspicious characters hovering around the berths.
